Outer Banks Star Madelyn Cline Is Ocean Drive's November Cover Star Logo

November issue also includes the prestigious 2020 Ocean Drive Women of Influence List

MIAMI, FL - NOVEMBER 4, 2020 - Today the editors of Ocean Drive Magazine, part of Modern Luxury Media, the nation's largest luxury media company, are debuting their November Issue featuring Madelyn Cline on the cover.

At Ocean Drive we make it our mission to highlight the aspirational and inspirational people who are creating a legacy of initiating progress within their businesses and communities. That’s why Ocean Drive has carefully constructed its “Women of Influence” list. Portrayed in the feature, “The Sky’s the Limit,” Ocean Drive Editor-in-Chief Patricia Tortolani spoke with six female power players including Professor of Medicine and Public Health Sciences, Vice Provost for Research at The University of Miami Erin Kobetz, who is helping reduce the spread of COVID-19 in her community, philanthropist Stacey Shabtai, Kelly Blanco from NBC 6 News and the CEO of Chapman Partnerships Symeria Hudson on how they are stewarding positive change and growth in Miami.

Ocean Drive’s cover star for November is another woman who is coming into her own influence. Madelyn Cline has made a name for herself as the breakout star of Netflix's Outer Banks, a coming of age story about a group of teenagers who find themselves amidst an adventure which forces them to find their voice. For this edition's cover story, Cline spoke with Tortolani on Cline’s accelerated success and the importance for young people to take a stand during unprecedented times. Alongside her co-star Chase Stokes, Cline is also the star of EDM Superstar Kygo’s new music video for the single “Hott Stuff,” a completed remix that pays homage to the Donna Summer hit.

Within this issue of Ocean Drive, readers can also dive into an exclusive Holiday Gift Guide featuring the must-haves for the upcoming holiday season and a photo story celebrating the best of the 80s decade. Photographed by RIOCAM and styled by Julian Rios entitled “Dream Machine,” this visual piece is a heavy resurrection of the 80s trends both on the catwalk and on the highway.

“Hands-down my favorite part of producing the Women of Influence issue is the time I get to spend around the brilliant—and totally badass—honorees,” said Ocean Drive Editor-in-Chief Patricia Alfonso Tortolani. “The interviews (“The Sky’s the Limit”) are a must-read for you—and your sons and daughters. But what truly caught me off guard this year was how our cover star played right into the Women of Influence theme. Actress Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron in the Netflix hit Outer Banks, is so much more than just the starlet that I expected her to be. I hope our November Issue is as inspiring to our readers as it was for our team to put together.”

The November issue of Ocean Drive is available beginning now to subscribers and digitally.
