As The Holiday Season Approaches, Modern Luxury Debuts Giving Issue Logo

Modern Luxury’s November issue puts a spotlight on philanthropy and the changemakers who have dedicated their lives to giving to causes around the country.

NEW YORK, NY - October 18, 2021 - Today the editors at Modern Luxury Media, the nation's largest luxury media company, have released its annual Giving Issue for November.

With the end of the year approaching and in the spirit of supporting its communities from coast to coast, Modern Luxury dedicates its November issues each year to philanthropy. Within the pages of the annual Giving Issue, Modern Luxury honors the changemakers leading the charge this year with a spotlight on the philanthropic powerhouses across the country. This includes organizations such as PNC Private Bank, who are helping clients achieve their unique purpose with their wealth. The gem of the issue is the special feature “Rebel With a Cause” which honors the next generation of philanthropists who are revolutionizing the world and are fervent in their commitment to driving meaningful ways to make the world a better place.

“If there is one thing we learned this past year, it is that we are all in this together,” said Phebe Wahl, EVP of Editorial at Modern Luxury. “The hardships we have all faced have made us all a bit more human in our approach—and I know personally I feel more compelled than ever to support my community in as many ways as I can. We hope that our annual Giving Issue inspires our readers to lend a hand to the ones around them.”

Modern Luxury’s cover star for the Giving Issue is none other than Ryan Gosling, whose appeal on our televisions and across our cinema screens transcend time. From charismatically dancing across the screen in “La La Land,” to pulling on our heartstrings in “The Notebook,” there is no doubt Ryan Gosling has an almost immortal appeal. In the cover story “Man Of The Moment,” Ryan Gosling shares with Modern Luxury how he spent this past year focusing on family and how he is preparing to debut perhaps his biggest blockbuster to date, “The Gray Man.” The Russo brothers-directed film is based on the Mark Greaney novel of the same name and part of a series that Netflix hopes to spin into a franchise. Gosling plays the lead (CIA operative Court Gentry) and is joined by other Hollywood heavyweights including Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and “Bridgerton” breakout star Regé-Jean Page.

Also in the issue, Modern Luxury editors unveil their annual Holiday Gift Guide, featuring a diverse assortment of luxurious items for the most discerning consumers and providing an invaluable resource during the gift-buying season.

The Giving Issue is available now to subscribers. Read the cover story and subscribe to the digital edition to explore more stories.
