Accepting applications now for SPRING 2020. Modern Luxury Chicago is seeking motivated, creative and professional students to assist with various marketing and sales related projects. The program is structured to teach the inner-workings of a luxury media company from a marketing perspective. The program is managed by the Director of Marketing and supervised by the Marketing Coordinator day-to-day. The program supports tasks and projects from the Marketing team, Sales Account Executives and the Publishers. Interns will collaborate with other program participants as well as cross-departments in the Chicago office.

The program includes event support onsite, social media, client/market research, keep on top of current market and industry events, updating the event listings on our local website, assisting with post-event coverage and more. Interns are required to assist at events that Modern Luxury Chicago hosts and produces throughout the year.

Events are a crucial experiential marketing tool and a vital part of this internship. Interns will learn pre-event prep details, assist with onsite event execution and post-event.


Events are an integral part of what we do, the internship may require working evenings and some weekend nights/days. The program requires interns at least 2-3 days a week in the office and to assist at 2-3 events per week. Modern Luxury Chicago is flexible with student’s schedules, but seeking individuals who are committed and interested in the media industry. The goal of the program is to help students enhance their experience and knowledge of the local media industry.

  • Fast-learner, ability to multi-task, responsible, reliable, self-motivated and trustworthy
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Google Drive - Excel & Word
  • Strong knowledge and experience with social media marketing; Interested and creative in content creation for social media accounts, especially Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Proficient in InDesign is a plus
