POSITION

The marketing content editor will work as part of Lux Studio, the full-service marketing and design studio powered by Modern Luxury Media. Lux Studio is a network of brand strategists, storytellers, creative masterminds and experiential experts delivering custom creative solutions. As part of Lux Studio, the marketing content editor will report directly to the SVP of Lux Studio.

This position will create and manage print, digital and other integrated marketing content to support client campaigns for some of the worlds largest luxury brands partnering with Modern Luxury Media. The ideal candidate will elevate our thinking to new heights and convey our clients’ messages in relevant, engaging, and innovative ways. The marketing content editor must leverage their creativity in original writing for both print and online and have a keen eye and style to proof pages and content. Cross-platform writing and editing skills and AP style proficiency are required.

Core duties include working in partnership with a team of talented marketers, designers and production team members in writing, reviewing and editing marketing content including client profiles, editorially-inspired advertorial content, print advertising campaign collateral, digital branded content and native pieces, dedicated emails, as well as other custom content materials and script development to support video production. To support specific content, the marketing content editor may be responsible for deploying content via a content management system (CMS).

In addition to client campaign work, the marketing content editor will partner with Lux Studio members to develop content and copy for marketing pages including Top 5, About Towns and other Modern Luxury Media brand specific and corporate house ads. The marketing content editor will also work closely with the chief marketing officer and SVP of Lux Studio on corporate initiatives including developing press releases and as well as produce content and copy to support the development and management of our corporate website, among other corporate properties, to drive brand awareness and reinforce consistency of our company narrative across internal and external channels.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Create and manage print, digital and other integrated marketing content to support client campaigns including member profiles, editorially-inspired advertorial content, print advertising campaign collateral, digital branded content and native pieces, dedicated emails, as well as other custom content materials and script development to support video production
  • Work directly with clients to conduct interviews to write member profiles to support modern luxury membership campaigns
  • Develop content and copy for other marketing pages including Top 5, About Towns and other Modern Luxury Media brand specific and corporate house ads.
  • Develop corporate press releases and content and copy to support the development and management of corporate website and other Modern Luxury corporate properties including internal communications
  • Writing both long and short form marketing content
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions as needed to support client campaigns and corporate initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional team members within marketing, design, production and sales to produce content
  • Work in content management system (CMS) to deploy content as needed

PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of proven creative copywriting experience at a media company or agency producing brand and corporate marketing content
  • Excellent storytelling with strong writing/journalistic abilities
  • Strong grammar and communication skills
  • Knowledge of AP Style required
  • Ability to adapt your writing style to different audiences and platforms to support a variety of brand and corporate content
  • Conceptual, creative thinker with a passion for writing
  • Research and fact-checking experience
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy and deadline-driven with an ability to prioritize deadlines
  • Ability to work with with cross-functional teams across the country
  • Fluent in CMS including WordPress, MorWeb, as well as web optimization, etc. a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or Marketing
