Modern Luxury is currently seeking a highly qualified Vice President to assume leadership of our Automotive vertical. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of proven sales success and territory management within the automotive industry, with a preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Chicago.


The selected individual will be entrusted with the crucial task of expanding our existing business and penetrating new accounts. This will involve employing various strategies such as cold calling, generating lead lists, and fostering enduring relationships with key partners and prospects. Proficiency in comprehending the dynamics of digital and print media is paramount, as is a keen appreciation for the significance of strategic content creation and placement, along with local territory activations. Moreover, the successful candidate will have established strong connections both directly with luxury automotive brands and with agencies that support this industry.


Additionally, the chosen candidate will serve as the resident automotive expert within Modern Luxury. This pivotal role will entail overseeing the overall messaging and point of view for the vertical, empowering our local teams to expand their reach.

Qualifications:

Proven Sales Success: Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in sales and territory management within the automotive industry.

Automotive Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the luxury automotive sector, including current trends, key players, and market dynamics.

Relationship Builder: Exceptional ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies, and industry professionals.

Media Mastery: Proficiency in digital and print media strategies, content creation, and placement to drive engagement and conversions.

Strategic Vision: A knack for developing and executing strategic initiatives that lead to growth and increased market share.

Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and inspiring teams, coupled with the ability to collaborate across departments and functions.

Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
